Agency sued by autistic victim who was sexually abused by agency’s former driver

Together with our co-counsel, we have filed suit against AHRC of Nassau County, a non-profit agency, on behalf of developmentally disabled young woman who was sexually abused by an employee of AHRC. New York Newsday reported on the filing in Nassau County Supreme Court. The suit alleges that that the AHRC negligently supervised its employee, which allowed him to sexually abuse our client and others with significant disabilities.
